We are seeking a highly skilled and adaptable Progressive Care (IMC/PCU) Registered Nurse to join the team at Norton Healthcare in Jeffersonville, IN. Grounded in the Kristin M. Swanson Model of Care, this role focuses on delivering safe, evidence-based, and family-centered care in a high-acuity stepdown environment.

• Acuity & Care: Provide comprehensive assessment, monitoring, and regular reassessments for intermediate care and stepdown-level patients.
• Clinical Execution: Safely prioritize and execute individualized plans of care, demonstrating strong independent clinical decision-making.
• Interdisciplinary Collaboration: Coordinate care and discharge education closely with families and the multi-disciplinary healthcare team.
• Unit Leadership: Supervise, support, and delegate tasks effectively to licensed and non-licensed assistive personnel on the night shift.

Requirements & Qualifications

• Experience: Minimum of two (2) years of solid, recent acute care RN experience (Stepdown/PCU background highly preferred).
• Licensure: Active Indiana State RN License or valid Compact/Multistate RN License.
• Certifications: Current AHA BLS, AHA ACLS, and NIHSS certifications are required.
• Education: Minimum of an Associate’s Degree in Nursing (ASN) or Nursing Diploma.
