Emergency Room Registered Nurse – Days/Mids

Position: ER Registered Nurse
Schedule: 3x12-hour shifts- alternating day/mid
Hours: 36 or 48 hours/week available
Location: Emergency Department (47 beds)
Start Date: 6/22/26

Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated Emergency Room Registered Nurse to provide high-quality patient care in a fast-paced emergency department. The RN will assess, plan, and deliver care to patients of all ages while collaborating with a multidisciplinary healthcare team.

Key Responsibilities

• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care using the nursing process
• Triage patients based on severity of condition
• Monitor patient status and respond to changes quickly and appropriately
• Administer treatments and medications as ordered
• Assist with emergency procedures within RN scope of practice
• Communicate effectively with physicians and care team members
• Develop and update patient care and discharge plans
• Educate patients and families on care and treatment plans
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation

Requirements

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license (state of practice)
• BLS, ACLS, PALS, NIH, and CPI certifications required
• Minimum 2 years ER experience preferred (strong 1st-time travelers considered)
• Strong clinical judgment and communication skills
• Basic computer proficiency
• Must meet all compliance, health, and background requirements

• Patient Ratio: 1:4
• Patient Population: All ages
• Environment: High-volume ER (non-trauma center)
• Weekends: Every other weekend required
• Holidays: Required as scheduled
• Floating: Required within specialty
• On-Call: Not required
