🩺 Job Responsibilities

Provide independent nursing care in Labor & Delivery
Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care
Monitor maternal & fetal well-being using advanced clinical skills
Support high-risk labor, delivery, and postpartum patients
Perform patient education, counseling, and discharge planning
Administer treatments and medications per provider orders
Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams (OB, NICU, anesthesia)
Maintain accurate documentation per hospital standards
Float to related units as needed (within scope)
Participate in on-call rotation if required

✅ Requirements

Active RN License (Colorado or Compact State)
BLS (AHA required)
NRP required (ACLS/PALS preferred depending on unit)
Minimum 1–2 years of L&D experience preferred
Experience in high-acuity / Level I settings highly preferred
Strong clinical judgment and adaptability

🧠 Preferred Skills

Fetal monitoring & high-risk labor management
OB triage / OBED experience
Floating flexibility (Antepartum, Postpartum, Mother/Baby)
Experience with major EMR systems (Epic preferred)
