Description

12H Nights 1900 to 0730, Every other weekend and holiday. SICU

2E SICU *Certifications Required: ACLS, BLS and NIHSS; Preferred: TNCC***

# Beds: 16, plus 2 additional procedural beds.- Nurse:Patient Ratios: 1:2, 1:1 higher acuity pts (ex. CRRT, immediate post-op hearts, MTP, OPO), 1:3 medsurg/floor status pts.- Common diagnoses/Types of patients: Cardiovascular surgery (CABG, AVR, MVR, AAA), traumas (level 2 trauma center), NSTEMI/STEMI, vascular surgery, neurosurgery, general surgery, ortho surgery, ENT surgery, any other surgical pts needing ICU.- Experience or 'Must have' skills: Must have experience with our patient populations and high acuity, we are the tertiary care center for MCHS. CRRT, IABP, Impella, and ECMO experience are not required but certainly desired/helpful. All our nurses take care of POD 1 heart patients, immediate postop heart patients cared for 1:1 by specifically trained nurses.

Very responsive, follows up. I have had to deal with compliance, HR questions etc and if the person I spoke with did not know the answer they sent it to whoever they thought could answer my questions and my questions or concerns were followed up on! This has been my first travel contract but I can’t say anything bad thus far!!! I definitely would recommend this company
