Description
Job Title: Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) Travel Contract
Contract Length: 8 Weeks
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive psychosocial assessments for oncology patients and families.
- Provide individual, family, and group counseling services.
- Develop and implement care plans addressing emotional, social, financial, and behavioral health needs.
- Collaborate with oncologists, nurses, case managers, and multidisciplinary care teams.
- Assist patients with coping strategies, crisis intervention, grief counseling, and adjustment to illness.
Required Qualifications:
- Master's Degree in Social Work (MSW) from an accredited program.
- Current Georgia Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) license.
- Current AHA Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
- Minimum 2 years of recent Clinical Social Work experience within the specialty.
- Minimum 1 year of oncology-specific social work experience.
- Recent hospital-based social work experience required.
