Description
Responsibilities
- Assist physicians during diagnostic and interventional cardiac catheterization procedures
- Prepare and maintain Cath Lab equipment and supplies
- Monitor patients throughout procedures and respond appropriately to changes in condition
- Operate hemodynamic monitoring systems and imaging equipment
- Ensure accurate documentation and adherence to department protocols
- Maintain a safe and sterile procedural environment
- Participate in call coverage and schedule variations as required by the department
Requirements
- Minimum 2 years of recent Cardiac Cath Lab experience
- Active RCIS (Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist) Certification
- AHA BLS Certification
- AHA ACLS Certification
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with diagnostic and interventional cardiac procedures
- Strong knowledge of cardiovascular anatomy, physiology, and invasive procedures
- Ability to work effectively in a high-acuity, team-oriented environment
- Excellent communication and critical-thinking skills
