Description

Registered Nurse (RN) – Emergency Department (ED)
Location: Burlington, MA
Duration: 26 Weeks
Travel Pay: $84.7/hr II $3050 weekly gross
Shift: 12-hour Nights (7:00 PM – 7:30 AM)
Schedule: Every other weekend + 2 holiday shifts required (limited time off during holidays)

Job Description:
The Emergency Department RN provides immediate, high-quality care to patients experiencing acute illnesses, injuries, and trauma. Responsibilities include rapid assessment, triage, monitoring patient conditions, administering medications, and collaborating with interdisciplinary teams in a fast-paced, high-acuity environment.

Requirements:

Minimum 2 years of Emergency Room experience
Level 1 Trauma experience required
Active Massachusetts (MA) RN License
BLS & ACLS certifications (AHA required)
Experience with Epic EMR system
Strong critical thinking, multitasking, and communication skills

Key Responsibilities:

Perform patient triage and prioritize care based on severity
Provide care for trauma, critical, and emergency cases
Administer medications and treatments as prescribed
Monitor and document patient progress using Epic
Collaborate with physicians and healthcare teams for optimal patient outcomes
Maintain professionalism, accuracy, and efficiency in high-pressure situations
