Description

  • Registered Nurse (RN) – Emergency Department (ED)
  • Location: Burlington, MA
  • Duration: 26 Weeks
  • Travel Pay: $84.7/hr II $3050 weekly gross
  • Shift: 12-hour Nights (7:00 PM – 7:30 AM)
    Schedule: Every other weekend + 2 holiday shifts required (limited time off during holidays)

Job Description:
The Emergency Department RN provides immediate, high-quality care to patients experiencing acute illnesses, injuries, and trauma. Responsibilities include rapid assessment, triage, monitoring patient conditions, administering medications, and collaborating with interdisciplinary teams in a fast-paced, high-acuity environment.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 2 years of Emergency Room experience
  • Level 1 Trauma experience required
  • Active Massachusetts (MA) RN License
  • BLS & ACLS certifications (AHA required)
  • Experience with Epic EMR system
  • Strong critical thinking, multitasking, and communication skills

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform patient triage and prioritize care based on severity
  • Provide care for trauma, critical, and emergency cases
  • Administer medications and treatments as prescribed
  • Monitor and document patient progress using Epic
  • Collaborate with physicians and healthcare teams for optimal patient outcomes
  • Maintain professionalism, accuracy, and efficiency in high-pressure situations
