Shift: Days | 12-hour shifts
Hours: 6:45 AM – 7:15 PM
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Start Date: 05/27/2026
Weekend Requirement: Every other weekend
On-Call: Not required

🏥 Unit Details – Clinical Decision Unit (D2)

Beds: 20
Patient Ratio: 1:5 (up to 1:6 depending on acuity)
Unit Type: Mixed acuity (Med/Surg + Stepdown overflow)
Average LOS: <24 hours (fast turnover)
Equipment: Bedside telemetry monitoring (hardwired)
EMR: Cerner

Staffing:

Day Shift: 1 Charge RN, 4 RNs, 2 CNAs
Night Shift: 1 Charge RN, 4 RNs, 2 CNAs

💼 Responsibilities

Provide high-quality care for PCU and Med/Surg overflow patients
Monitor and interpret telemetry rhythms
Manage short-stay, high-turnover patient assignments
Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams for efficient patient flow
Deliver compassionate, patient-centered care

✅ Requirements

Minimum 2 years of RN experience (Required)
Progressive Care (PCU) experience (Required)
Strong telemetry skills (Required)
BLS & ACLS Certifications (Required)
Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-turnover environment
