Compensation

💰 Up to $115/hr (Providers residing within 50 miles)
💰 Up to $125/hr (Providers residing outside 50 miles)

Travel, lodging, and malpractice coverage available for eligible providers.

Opportunity Overview

Conemaugh Memorial Medical Center is seeking an experienced Neonatal Nurse Practitioner (NNP) or Neonatal Physician Assistant (PA) to provide coverage in a Level III NICU. The facility is seeking both ongoing locum providers and candidates interested in a locum-to-permanent opportunity.

This is an inpatient-only position with no call responsibilities and flexible 12- or 24-hour in-house shifts.

Clinical Responsibilities

• Manage and round on assigned NICU patients

• Provide comprehensive neonatal care in a Level III NICU

• Participate in neonatal transports as needed

• Perform advanced neonatal procedures

• Collaborate with physicians and multidisciplinary NICU teams

Required Procedures & Skills

• Neonatal Intubation

• Chest Tube Placement

• Umbilical Venous & Arterial Lines

• PICC Line Placement

• Arterial Sticks

• Neonatal Resuscitation

• Transport Experience Required

Providers must be willing to participate in neonatal transport, including occasional flight transport (typically 1–2 times per year).

• Average Census: 10 Patients per Shift

• Caring for Neonates 23+ Weeks Gestation

Requirements

✔ Active Pennsylvania License

✔ Board Certified or Board Eligible

✔ BLS Certification

✔ NRP Certification

✔ Recent Level III NICU Experience Required
