Description
Job Title: CT Technologist
Location: 80 Jesse Hill Jr. Dr. SE, Atlanta, GA 30303
Contract Duration: 13 Weeks
Schedule:
- Night Shift: 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM
- 3 x 12-hour shifts per week
- 36 hours per week
- Weekend staffing focus: Friday, Saturday, and Sunday
Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced CT Technologist for a 13-week assignment at a busy Level I Trauma Center in Atlanta, GA. The ideal candidate will have strong experience working in a high-acuity environment with trauma, stroke, and burn patients.
Requirements
- ARRT Certification required
- ARRT (CT) preferred
- Previous trauma and emergency department CT experience strongly preferred
- Experience with EPIC electronic medical record system preferred
Department Details
- Level I Trauma Center
- Comprehensive Stroke and Burn Center
- Overnight coverage includes:
- 3 CT scanners in the Emergency Care Center (ECC)
- 2 inpatient CT scanners
- 1 CT scanner on the Neuro floor used overnight
- Total of 6 CT scanners available overnight
Staffing
- Weekend night shift team consists of 4 CT Technologists working Friday–Sunday, 7:00 PM–7:30 AM.
- The department's preferred staffing model is 6 Technologists; however, operational needs may require coverage with 4 Technologists at times.
Equipment
- CT scanner fleet includes:
- 2 scanners on an older platform
- 5 GE Revolution platform scanners
Software
- EPIC Electronic Medical Record (EMR) system
