Description
Travel Registered Nurse (RN) – Operating Room (OR)
Location: Sun City, AZ
Contract Duration: 13 Weeks
Shift: Days – 4x10s (6:30 AM – 5:00 PM)
Hours: 40 hours scheduled
Key Responsibilities
- Provide safe, high-quality perioperative nursing care in the OR setting
- Assist in surgical procedures as scrub and/or circulating nurse (as applicable)
- Maintain strict adherence to sterile technique and OR protocols
- Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and surgical techs
- Ensure accurate documentation of intraoperative care and patient status
- Participate in turnover, room preparation, and surgical workflow efficiency
- Maintain compliance with hospital policies, safety standards, and infection control guidelines
Required Qualifications - Minimum 24 months OR (Inpatient) experience with recent experience in last 12 months
- Active Arizona RN License (must be active at time of submission)
- BLS (AHA/ARC/ASHI) – Required
- ACLS (AHA) – Required
- PALS (AHA) – Required
- Clean nursing license with no disciplinary actions
- Valid Driver’s License (for residency verification)
