Description

Years of Experience: 2 to 5 years Emergency Department / Critical Care

Education & Certifications Required:

• Required Certifications (will this be consistent for all similar skillset on unit or specific to this Position Request):

ACLS,BLS,PALS, CPI, NISHH

Unit Information:

• Number of Beds: Future state 20 beds + 3 Behavioral within and locked unit and 2 Triage rooms. Under construction currently.

• Patient Ratios: 4/1 to 5/1

• Equipment: Standard for Emergency Care

• EMR: EPIC

Hiring Profile:

• Must Have Skills/Experience: 2 to 5 years Emergency Department / Critical Care

• Type of Patients on Unit: Emergency department patients

• Personality Fit: this unit is team approach , flexibility and excellent communication and documentation skills

Dress Code:

• Scrub Color: any sold color

ED is a Joint Commission Certified Stroke Center

ED is currently under construction requiring flexibility with work flow changes

ED has 3 behavioral health unit beds within a locked space, plus 3 medical/psych swing beds. Penbay has an inpatient psychiatric unit.

This hospital is hands down the least toxic hospital I have ever had the privilege of working. I absolutely love the people I work with. Everyone I come into contact with likes what they do and they do it with passion. It’s not perfect by any means, but it’s close.
