Description
Travel RN – Med Surg/Telemetry
We are seeking an experienced Travel Registered Nurse (RN) – Med Surg/Telemetry to provide high-quality patient care in a fast-paced acute care setting. The RN will assess, plan, implement, and evaluate nursing care for adult patients with a variety of medical, surgical, and cardiac conditions while utilizing telemetry monitoring equipment.
Responsibilities:
- Provide direct patient care to medical-surgical and telemetry patients.
- Monitor and interpret cardiac rhythms and report changes promptly.
- Administer medications and treatments according to physician orders.
- Perform patient assessments and develop individualized care plans.
- Collaborate with physicians, therapists, and interdisciplinary healthcare teams.
- Educate patients and families regarding treatment plans and discharge instructions.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation in the electronic medical record (EMR).
- Respond to changes in patient condition and emergency situations as needed.
- Ensure compliance with hospital policies, safety standards, and regulatory requirements.
