Assignment Details

• Shift: 0600–1830, Monday–Friday
• Call Requirement: Yes
  • Call coverage required for weekdays, weekends, and holidays
  • Must be able to arrive at the hospital within 30 minutes while on call
• EMR: Epic (required)
• Prior Travel Experience: Preferred

Required Experience

• Minimum 2 years of Endoscopy (Endo) RN experience
• Inpatient Endoscopy experience required
• Epic EMR experience required

Preferred Advanced Endoscopy Experience

Experience with the following procedures is preferred:

• EMR (Endoscopic Mucosal Resection)
• ESD (Endoscopic Submucosal Dissection)
• RFA (Radiofrequency Ablation)
• CRYO (Cryotherapy)
• POEM (Peroral Endoscopic Myotomy)
• ERCP (Endoscopic Retrograde Cholangiopancreatography)

Required Certifications

• BLS
• ACLS

Education Requirements

Candidates must meet one of the following:

• Degree from an accredited nursing program (Degree Accreditation must be included on the profile), or
• Minimum 5 years of nursing experience

Facility Requirements

• Radius Rule: Candidate must reside more than 50 miles from the facility's permanent address requirement.
• Floating Required: Travelers are the first staff floated and may be required to float to other sister campuses as needed.
• Travelers are expected to function at the same level as core staff and integrate into the unit culture.
• Strong cultural fit and adaptability are highly valued.

Ideal Candidate

• Experienced Endoscopy RN with strong inpatient endoscopy skills
• Proficient with Epic EMR
• Comfortable taking call and meeting the 30-minute response requirement
• Experience with advanced endoscopic procedures preferred
• Flexible and willing to float as needed
• Able to function independently and seamlessly integrate with the core staff team and facility culture.
