Description
Shift: Nights 26-week contracts with guaranteed 48 hours/week. Previous work in a Children's-only hospital Description: URL: --- General Description: Under general supervision, will provide services for the Respiratory Therapy Department in a timely and efficient manner for all appropriate age levels and in all areas that are served by the department. Essential Responsibilities: Responsibilities listed in this section are core to the position. Inability to perform these responsibilities with or without an accommodation may result in disqualification from the position. Administers therapeutic treatments as prescribed by attending medical staff. Records treatment information and patient s treatment response in their computerized medical record.Acts as a resource person to medical staff. Performs invasive and noninvasive diagnostic testing and monitoring of patients. Provides age appropriate care to patients. Ensures that respiratory equipment is cleaned and maintained. Maintains necessary respiratory therapy records. Performs as part of the quick response team for cardiac and respiratory arrests. General Responsibilities: Performs other duties as assigned. Schedule Notes:26-week contracts with guaranteed 48 hours/week. Previous work in a Children's-only hospital preferred.Skills: Experience: None required. Two (2) years of respiratory care experience in a critical care setting preferred. Knowledge, Skills and Abilities: Knowledge of procedures and techniques of Respiratory Therapy and the operation and repair of respiratory equipment. Clinical decision making skills appropriate to patient care as it relates to the pulmonary and cardiac system and to the age of the patient. Ability to interpret the appropriate information to identify patient s needs. Ability to work under stress. Good interpersonal skills. Ability to maintain a good working relationship with coworkers and staff. Some computer skills. Education: Education: Graduation from an approved Respiratory Care Program. License(s)/Certification(s)/Registration(s) Required: Licensed by the Oklahoma Board of Medical Licensure and Supervision as a Respiratory Care Practitioner. Registered by the National Board of Respiratory Care. Current Basic Life Support issued by the American Heart Association required upon hire. Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (American Heart Association) within 3 months of hire. The Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential must be received within 12 months of hire.

Very responsive, follows up. I have had to deal with compliance, HR questions etc and if the person I spoke with did not know the answer they sent it to whoever they thought could answer my questions and my questions or concerns were followed up on! This has been my first travel contract but I can’t say anything bad thus far!!! I definitely would recommend this company
