Description
Location: Phoenix & Glendale, Arizona
Shift: PMs – 3 x 12-hour shifts (36 hrs/week)
Units Covered
You will float between:
- PICU (Pediatric Intensive Care Unit)
- CVICU (Cardiovascular Intensive Care Unit)
- NICU (Level IV Neonatal ICU)
- MOSU (Multispecialty Unit)
Float Requirements
- Daily floating based on staffing needs
- Main Campus (Phoenix) and Arrowhead Campus (Glendale)
- May float to pediatric acute care units if needed
- Will not float to:
- Emergency Department
- Inpatient Psychiatry
- First to float if census changes
Experience Required
Must Have:
- Minimum 2 years Pediatric Critical Care RN experience
- PICU and/or CVICU experience
Preferred:
- Children's hospital experience
- Level III or IV NICU experience
Certifications Required Before Start
- Arizona RN License (or Compact RN License)
- BLS (AHA)
- PALS (AHA)
- NRP
Schedule Expectations
- Every other weekend
- Minimum:
- 2 Mondays
- 2 Fridays
during each 6-week schedule block
