Description
Medical Technologist – 13 Week Contract
Location: 1000 Johnson Ferry Road NE, Atlanta, GA 30342
Duration: 13 Weeks
Schedule: Days | 5x8s | 40 Hours/Week
Shift Hours: 7a-330p
Requirements
- Minimum 2 years of recent Medical Technologist experience within specialty
- Cerner experience required
- Required Certifications (one of the following):
- ASCP
- AMT
- AAB
Preferred Experience
- Experience using Sysmex and CellaVision systems
- Previous experience in a large hospital laboratory setting (600+ beds)
- Strong competency performing differentials, especially in neonatal populations
- Experience handling complex specimens including:
- Turbid specimens
- Platelet clumps
- Abnormal cell findings
Job Details
- Fast-paced, high-volume laboratory environment
- Candidate must be able to transition quickly with minimal training
- Strong hematology and morphology skills preferred
