Travel Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) – Operating Room
Location: Denver, Colorado
Facility: HCA HealthONE Rose
Shift: Days | 7:00 AM – 5:00 PM
Duration: 13 Weeks
Call Requirement: Required (Must be within 30-minute response time)
Job Overview
HCA HealthONE Rose is seeking an experienced Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) for a 13-week travel assignment in a busy Operating Room environment. This position offers the opportunity to work alongside a highly skilled surgical team in a collaborative, patient-focused setting with a variety of elective surgical specialties.
The ideal candidate will have recent acute care hospital OR experience and be comfortable supporting multiple surgical service lines.
Unit Details
- 23 Operating Rooms
- Approximately 70 OR staff members
- Patient Ratio: 1:1
- EMR: Meditech / CPN
- Elective surgical cases only
- No trauma cases
- Team-oriented work environment
Responsibilities
- Prepare operating rooms for surgical procedures.
- Ensure surgical instruments, supplies, and equipment are properly sterilized and available.
- Assist surgeons, nurses, and anesthesia providers during procedures.
- Maintain sterile technique throughout surgical cases.
- Anticipate surgical team needs and provide instruments and supplies efficiently.
- Assist with patient positioning, room turnover, and specimen handling.
- Adhere to all infection prevention and patient safety standards.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year of current acute care hospital CST experience.
- Active CST Certification through NBSTSA.
- Active Colorado DORA Registration/Certification.
- Current BLS Certification.
- Strong knowledge of surgical instrumentation and sterile processing principles.
