Shift: Days | 7:00 AM – 5:00 PM
Duration: 13 Weeks
Call Requirement: Required (Must be within 30-minute response time)
 

Job Overview

HCA HealthONE Rose is seeking an experienced Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) for a 13-week travel assignment in a busy Operating Room environment. This position offers the opportunity to work alongside a highly skilled surgical team in a collaborative, patient-focused setting with a variety of elective surgical specialties.

The ideal candidate will have recent acute care hospital OR experience and be comfortable supporting multiple surgical service lines.

Unit Details

• 23 Operating Rooms
• Approximately 70 OR staff members
• Patient Ratio: 1:1
• EMR: Meditech / CPN
• Elective surgical cases only
• No trauma cases
• Team-oriented work environment

Responsibilities

• Prepare operating rooms for surgical procedures.
• Ensure surgical instruments, supplies, and equipment are properly sterilized and available.
• Assist surgeons, nurses, and anesthesia providers during procedures.
• Maintain sterile technique throughout surgical cases.
• Anticipate surgical team needs and provide instruments and supplies efficiently.
• Assist with patient positioning, room turnover, and specimen handling.
• Adhere to all infection prevention and patient safety standards.

Required Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of current acute care hospital CST experience.
• Active CST Certification through NBSTSA.
• Active Colorado DORA Registration/Certification.
• Current BLS Certification.
• Strong knowledge of surgical instrumentation and sterile processing principles.
