Job Title: Travel Ultrasound Technologist

💰 Compensation & Position Overview

Position: Ultrasound Technologist (Sonographer)
Location: Grass Valley, CA
Setting: Acute Care / Outpatient rotation
Start Date: 06/23/2026
Duration: 13 Weeks
Shift: 8-Hour Days | 40 Hours Guaranteed
Schedule Notes: Every other weekend (EOW) required. Call required (1–2 nights/week depending on rotation).

📋 Job Duties & Department Details

Join the Radiology team at a highly respected facility in scenic Grass Valley. Profiles go directly to the hiring manager for fast-tracked review!

Department/Scanners: Radiology - U/S | 4 rooms total (2 inpatient, 2 outpatient).
Daily Workload: Average of 10 scans/studies per day.
Common Studies: OB/GYN, Abdomen, small parts, Carotid arteries, DVT studies, renal arteries, Paracentesis, Thoracentesis, and biopsies. (Cardiac not required).
Equipment & Systems: GE L8 and L9 scanners. EMR/PACS: Cerner, McKesson, Vrad.
Floating: Will rotate to outpatient areas as necessary.
Dress Code: Teal scrubs (not provided).

Requirements & Certifications

To be fast-tracked for this role, candidates must meet the following criteria at the time of submission:

Experience: Minimum 2 years of Sonographer experience.
Certifications: ARDMS and BLS are required.
Vascular Skills: RVT / Vascular experience is highly preferred (a major plus!).
