Description
Spine & Vascular RN (Day Shift / Call Rotation)
Shift Information
- Primary Shift: 08:30 AM – 09:00 PM
- Call Requirement: Yes (call rotation required)
Required Experience
- Minimum 2 years RN experience required
- Must have hands-on experience in:
- Spine cases
- Vascular procedures
- Must be able to function independently in a procedural/surgical nursing environment
Required Certifications
- BLS
- ACLS
Core Responsibilities
- Perform comprehensive patient assessments and reassessments
- Develop, implement, and revise individualized plans of care
- Monitor and evaluate patient responses to clinical interventions
- Provide patient and family education throughout the care process
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to coordinate care
- Delegate appropriately to licensed and unlicensed staff
- Serve as mentor/preceptor and support team development
- Promote safe, evidence-based, and regulatory-compliant nursing practice
- Participate in quality improvement and unit governance activities

✔ Ability to manage perioperative and post-procedural patients
✔ Strong critical thinking and prioritization skills
✔ Comfortable with call rotation and variable patient flow
✔ Effective communicator in multidisciplinary surgical teams
