Job Title: EP Technologist (Electrophysiology Lab)

Location: Bronx, NY

Schedule: Day Shift | 4 Days/Week | 10-Hour Shifts (7:00 AM – 5:30 PM) | 37.5 Hours/Week | 13-Week Contract

Position Overview:

Seeking an experienced Electrophysiology (EP) Technologist . The ideal candidate will have experience assisting with diagnostic and interventional electrophysiology procedures, operating specialized EP equipment, and supporting physicians during cardiac rhythm management procedures.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist physicians during electrophysiology studies and cardiac ablation procedures.
• Prepare and maintain EP lab equipment and supplies.
• Operate and monitor specialized EP recording and mapping systems.
• Ensure accurate patient documentation in EPIC.
• Monitor patient condition throughout procedures and respond appropriately.
• Maintain a sterile environment and adhere to infection control standards.
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to provide quality patient care.

Qualifications:

• Minimum 1 year of Electrophysiology Lab experience required.
• Current BLS (AHA) certification required.
• Current ACLS certification required.
• Registered Cardiac Electrophysiology Specialist (RCES) certification required.
• Experience with EPIC charting system preferred.
• Strong communication, critical thinking, and patient care skills.
