Registered Nurse (Telemetry) - Travel Position

Tucson, Arizona

Work Schedule

Night shift: 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM
3 twelve-hour shifts per week (3/12's)
Work 6 weekend shifts every 6 weeks
48-hour guarantee considered

Job Description

Provide patient care on Medical-Surgical/Telemetry units using the Nursing Process in accordance with state Nurse Practice Act and hospital policies.
Demonstrate critical thinking, scientific judgment, and leadership to ensure safe delivery of care.
Maintain clinical competencies through continuing education.
Delegate patient care priorities based on staff education and experience.
Provide direction and supervision to assigned personnel.
This is a float pool position requiring willingness to float between multiple departments and facilities.

Required Qualifications

Valid RN license in Arizona
Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
Minimum 2 years of Telemetry nursing experience, including experience within the last year
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification
Experience with Cerner EMR

Staffing Ratio

Patient-to-nurse ratio: 6:1
