<p>Requirements:</p><ul><li>Education: Associates Degree or Higher</li><li>Experience: 2+ years of L&amp;D RN experience in the Inpatient Hospital Setting</li><li>Licensure: CA RN License</li><li>Certifications:<ul><li>BLS</li><li>ACLS</li><li>NRP</li><li>AWHONN</li></ul></li><li>Skill Set:<ul><li>Vaginal Exams</li><li>Circulating C-Sections</li><li>Post CS Recovery</li><li>Care of the high-risk antepartum patient<ul><li>Gestational Hypertension</li><li>Gestational DiabetesCare of the laboring patient, including CS and Vaginal delivery and recovery</li></ul></li><li>Obstetrical Emergencies, including Ob Hemorrhage</li><li>Care of the newborn, within the first hour of life<ul><li>Breastfeeding, initial latch</li></ul></li></ul></li><li>Typical Procedures:<ul><li>Labor and Delivery Management, including vaginal exams</li><li>Outpatient testing: NST, CST, BPP</li><li>OB Triage, OBED, MSE</li><li>Versions, Cervical Cerclage</li><li>OP Injections</li></ul></li></ul>
