Description

Key Responsibilities:

Perform comprehensive patient assessments and prioritize care based on acuity levels.
Triage patients and initiate appropriate emergency interventions.
Administer medications, IV therapies, blood products, and emergency treatments as ordered.
Monitor patient conditions and respond promptly to changes in clinical status.
Assist with trauma cases, cardiac emergencies, respiratory distress, and other critical situations.
Maintain accurate and timely documentation in the electronic medical record (EMR).
Adhere to hospital policies, patient safety standards, and regulatory requirements.

Requirements:

Active New York State Registered Nurse (RN) License.
Current BLS (Basic Life Support) Certification.
Current ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) Certification.
Current PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support) Certification.
Minimum 2 years of recent Emergency Room (ER) nursing experience required.
Minimum 2 years of travel nursing experience required; candidates with prior assignment renewals preferred.
