Position Details

Specialty: Occupational Therapy – Pediatric Behavioral Health
Setting: Inpatient Rehab / Behavioral Health
Schedule: Primarily Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–4:30 PM
Some schedule flexibility required
Occasional Saturday coverage with a weekday off
Potential Labor Day holiday coverage
40 Guaranteed Hours Weekly
No Call

Patient Population

Pediatric & Adolescent Behavioral Health
Ages 4–18
Neurodevelopmental and psychiatric diagnoses

Responsibilities

Complete Occupational Therapy evaluations
Develop and implement individualized treatment plans
Facilitate therapeutic groups and one-on-one treatment sessions
Collaborate with multidisciplinary behavioral health teams
Document care and treatment progress
Support patients with behavioral, developmental, and psychiatric needs

Requirements

✅ Active Massachusetts Occupational Therapist License
✅ AHA BLS Certification
✅ Minimum 1–2 Years OT Experience
✅ Pediatric Behavioral Health Experience Required
✅ Inpatient Behavioral Health Experience Preferred
✅ Travel Experience Highly Preferred
✅ BS, MS, or OTD in Occupational Therapy

Preferred Skills

Experience with inpatient psychiatric populations
Strong group facilitation skills
Familiarity with neurodevelopmental disorders
EMR experience (EPIC preferred)
