Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced MS/Telemetry Registered Nurse with strong cardiac monitoring skills for a 13-week travel assignment in Pleasanton, CA. This role is ideal for nurses who are comfortable caring for telemetry patients and have experience managing post-operative orthopedic and spine patients in an acute care setting.

As a Clinical Nurse on the MS/Telemetry unit, you will provide evidence-based nursing care, monitor patient progress, collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, and support patients and families throughout their care journey.

Requirements

✅ Active RN License (California or eligible)
✅ Minimum 2 years of recent MS/Telemetry experience
✅ Strong cardiac/telemetry monitoring experience
✅ Preferred experience with post-operative orthopedic and spine patients
✅ Current BLS Certification
✅ Current ACLS Certification
✅ Experience with Epic EMR

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive nursing care to Medical-Surgical and Telemetry patients
• Monitor cardiac rhythms and respond appropriately to changes in patient condition
• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care plans
• Collaborate with physicians and multidisciplinary healthcare teams
• Educate patients and families regarding treatment plans and recovery goals
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation in Epic
