• Number of Beds – Facility features 28 bed IRF and 383 acute care hospital (avg census 240)
• Number of Staff – 17 PT’s on staff (F/T and PRN staff)
• Type of staff:
  • Day Shift – Staffed to support patient care needs
  • Night Shift - NONE
• Patient Ratios – 4 patients/day (IRF) 8-12 patients/day (acute care)
• Type of equipment – 2 therapy gyms, Vector, LiteGait, ADL Apartment
• EMR - Meditech

Skill Set Most recruited for: 

Must have:  candidates without these skills will not be considered for the role.

• Willingness to work on IRF unit
• Critical thinking/clinical reasoning

Preferred or nice to have:  candidates with these skills will be considered first.

• Hospital/IRF experience (highly preferred)
• Stroke/neuro experience

List typical procedures performed on unit(s):  

•  Evaluation, treatment, discharge
• Team conferences, family training
• Adaptive devices and equipment

• 1 weekend shift/month policy
• Active PT license, active BLS certification
