Description

Title: Cath Lab Technologist

Location: Bronx, NY - 10461
Schedule: Evening Shift | Monday – Friday | 8 Hours | 37.5 Hours/Week
Pay Range: $80/hr - $93/hr based on 34.5hrs

Position Overview

Seeking an experienced Cath Lab Technologist in Bronx, NY. The ideal candidate will have experience working in a Cardiac Catheterization Laboratory and possess strong procedural and scrub experience. Candidates with RCIS certification and a commitment to providing exceptional patient care are encouraged to apply.

Key Responsibilities

Assist physicians during diagnostic and interventional cardiac catheterization procedures.
Prepare and maintain sterile fields and ensure proper operation of cath lab equipment.
Scrub and circulate during cardiovascular procedures.
Monitor patients and provide support throughout procedures.
Document patient information accurately using EPIC charting system.
Maintain compliance with hospital policies and patient safety standards.
Collaborate effectively with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals.
Preferred:
Previous experience in a high-volume Cardiac Cath Lab.
Strong communication and teamwork skills.
Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

Required:

Minimum of 2 years of Cath Lab experience.
RCIS certification with scrub experience.
AHA - BLS,ACLS
Experience working in an acute care setting.
Proficiency with EPIC charting system.
