š„ RN Night Shift Job Breakdown (Short)
Shift: 3x12 Nights (19:00ā07:30)
Weekly Hours: 36 hrs
Facility: St. Joseph, MO (352 beds, Level II Trauma & Stroke Center)
Charting: EPIC
Parking: Free
š©ŗ Core Responsibilities (Weekly Focus)
- Direct Patient Care: ~18 hrs
Assessment, monitoring, treatments, medications, overnight care - Documentation (EPIC): ~6 hrs
Charting, care plans, compliance documentation - Medications & Treatments: ~5 hrs
Administering meds, following orders, monitoring response - Coordination & Communication: ~4 hrs
Handoffs, provider communication, delegation - Patient Education & Other Duties: ~3 hrs
Discharge teaching, support, hospital standards
š Key Requirements
- RN License (Compact or State)
- BCLS, ACLS
- 2+ years experience preferred
- BSN preferred
- Local within 50 miles = reduced rate
- Pending license accepted (must be active before start)
