🤱 Position Overview – Labor & Delivery RN

As a Labor & Delivery RN, you will play a vital role in providing compassionate, high-quality care to mothers and newborns throughout the childbirth process. You will work in a dynamic, fast-paced environment supporting patients during one of life’s most important moments.

💼 Key Responsibilities

Perform comprehensive patient assessments and develop individualized care plans
Monitor maternal and fetal well-being throughout labor and delivery
Provide direct patient care, including labor support and post-delivery care
Administer medications and treatments in accordance with protocols
Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary teams
Educate patients and families on childbirth, recovery, and newborn care
Document care in accordance with hospital and regulatory standards
Float to other units as needed (within scope)
Participate in on-call rotation if required

✅ Requirements

Active RN license (state of practice)
BLS (AHA) required
ACLS, NRP, or PALS (as applicable to unit)
Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing (ASN required, BSN preferred)
Previous Labor & Delivery experience preferred
Strong clinical, communication, and critical-thinking skills
