Additional Requirements: On-call approximately 2 times per month; floating between Gastonia and Belmont locations as needed.

Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced CT Technologist for a 13-week travel assignment. The ideal candidate will be skilled in performing high-quality CT imaging procedures while providing exceptional patient care in a fast-paced healthcare environment. This role requires flexibility, strong technical expertise, and a commitment to patient safety and diagnostic excellence.

Responsibilities

• Perform CT examinations according to physician orders and departmental protocols.
• Ensure high-quality diagnostic images while maintaining patient comfort and safety.
• Prepare and position patients for imaging procedures.
• Administer contrast media in accordance with facility policies and state regulations.
• Monitor patients throughout procedures and respond appropriately to any adverse reactions.
• Maintain accurate documentation and imaging records within hospital information systems.
• Adhere to radiation safety standards, infection control practices, and quality assurance protocols.
• Collaborate effectively with radiologists, nurses, physicians, and fellow imaging professionals.
• Participate in on-call coverage and float between Gastonia and Belmont locations as needed.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology program.
• ARRT certification required.
• CT certification preferred or required per facility guidelines.
• Current BLS certification.
• Previous hospital-based CT experience strongly preferred.
• Experience with contrast-enhanced studies and emergency imaging procedures preferred.
• Excellent communication, organizational, and patient care skills.
