• Number of Beds – 26 PRE OP BAYS, 8 ENDO BAYS
• Number of Staff – 27/DAY
• Type of staff:
  • Day Shift – DIFFERENT SHIFTS 8, 10, 12’S – UNIT IS OPEN FROM 0500-2100 HAS CALL REQUIREMENT
  • Night Shift- none
• Patient Ratios – depending on which area- pre op 1:1, Phase 2 3-5:1, infusion 5:1
• Type of equipment -
• EMR – MEDITECH-we find if travelers do not have some knowledge of meditech they get very frustrated, it takes
• So long to learn

Skill Set Most recruited for:  (Travel RNs, local CNAs and sitters)

Must have:  candidates without these skills will not be considered for the role.

• Need to have pre op, phase 2, Infusion or PAT experience- too hard to teach in a short period of time

Preferred or nice to have:  candidates with these skills will be considered first.
