Travel Pharmacist – Acute Care | 13-Week Contract
📍 Location: Joplin, MO
🏥 Facility: Mercy Hospital Joplin

- Variable 4x10 Schedule
- Monday–Friday
- Shift Options:
- 10:30 AM – 9:00 PM
- 12:30 PM – 11:00 PM
- No Weekends
- No Call Requirements
Requirements
- Active Missouri Pharmacist License
- 1–3 years of recent Acute Care, Critical Care, or Teaching Hospital experience
- Ability to work independently in a high-acuity tertiary care setting
- Recent EPIC experience strongly preferred
- Board Certification (BCPS) preferred but not required
Key Responsibilities
- Review and verify medication orders
- Monitor and optimize drug therapy
- Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and interdisciplinary teams
- Participate in quality assurance and patient safety initiatives
- Provide clinical pharmacy support for complex patient populations
- Assist with staff education and pharmacy student precepting
