Registered Nurse – Antepartum (Travel)
Facility: Lee Health – HealthPark Medical Center
Location: 9981 S HealthPark Dr, Fort Myers, FL 33908
On-Call: Required – One 12-hour call shift per schedule
Specialty: Antepartum / High-Risk Obstetrics
Candidate Type: Travel Only
Location Restriction: Must reside outside 50 miles of HealthPark Medical Center
Job Summary
The Antepartum Registered Nurse provides specialized care for high-risk obstetric patients requiring inpatient monitoring and treatment. The ideal candidate will have experience managing complex maternal-fetal conditions and administering high-risk medications in a fast-paced antepartum environment.
Requirements
Minimum 2 years of Antepartum RN experience required
Active RN license required
BLS required
ACLS required
NRP required
AWHONN Advanced Fetal Monitoring certification required
Experience with Epic EMR and Perigen required
Degree accreditation verification or 5 years of nursing experience required
Prior travel nursing experience highly preferred
Common Patient Diagnoses
Preterm Labor
Preterm Premature Rupture of Membranes (PPROM)
Pre-eclampsia
High-risk pregnancy complications
Maternal-fetal monitoring patients
Required Clinical Experience
Magnesium Sulfate administration and monitoring
Insulin drips and diabetic pregnancy management
Heparin administration and monitoring
Advanced fetal monitoring interpretation
Maternal assessment and high-risk obstetric care
Responsibilities
Provide comprehensive nursing care to antepartum and high-risk obstetric patients
Monitor maternal and fetal status using advanced fetal monitoring techniques
Administer and manage high-risk medications and drips
Recognize and respond to maternal and fetal complications
Collaborate with obstetricians, maternal-fetal medicine specialists, and interdisciplinary teams
Document patient care accurately in Epic and Perigen
Educate patients and families regarding treatment plans and pregnancy-related conditions
Maintain compliance with hospital, regulatory, and safety standards
Facility Notes
Prior travel experience is highly preferred
Floating required; travelers are first to float and may be assigned to sister campuses as needed
All requested time off must be submitted at time of application; no post-submission RTO approvals

Strict document deadline: Monday prior to start date; no exceptions for pending documents
