Description

7:00PM - 7:30AM/36 hours guaranteed 

 

The BirthingCenter is a level one low risk birth unit utilizing single room maternity care.Care is provided incorporating Orem s theory of self-care and philosophy offamily centered care. Care is administered on inpatient or outpatient status.The patient population includes obstetrical patients (antepartum, intrapartumand postpartum), clean female surgical cases, newborn stabilization, normalnewborn care, pediatric patients during the Perinatal period. Cesarean birthsare performed and recovered in the Birthing Center. Nursing personnel areprovided for therapeutic abortions performed on other units when staffingpermits. 

 

Submission requirements: 

1+ years minimum of current LDRP experience (experience 400+ deliveries a year preferred) - [REQUIRED]

Experience with C-Sections, epidurals, electroniccharting, venipuncture proficiency - [PREFERRED]

AFM, NRP, and S.T.A.B.L.E can be obtained during onboardingTravel experience - [HIGHLY PREFERRED]

 

Active Registered Nurse licensed by the State ofVermont- [REQUIRED]

Active American Health Association Basic Life Support (BLS) - [REQUIRED] 

Active Advanced Fetal Monitoring (AFM)certification - [HIGHLY PREFERRED]

Active Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP)certification - [HIGHLY PREFERRED]

Active Sugar, Temperature, Airway, Blood pressure, Lab work, and Emotional support (STABLE) -[HIGHLY PREFERRED]

Very responsive, follows up. I have had to deal with compliance, HR questions etc and if the person I spoke with did not know the answer they sent it to whoever they thought could answer my questions and my questions or concerns were followed up on! This has been my first travel contract but I can’t say anything bad thus far!!! I definitely would recommend this company
