Description
Job Opportunity: Operating Room Registered Nurse (Night Shift) - Florida
Position Details
- Location: Fort Lauderdale, Florida
- Employment Type: Travel/Contract
- Contract Length: 13 weeks
- Shift: Night shift, 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM, every other week (EOW) on-call including holidays
- Hours: 36 hours per week (3 shifts of 12 hours)
Job Description
- Role requires functioning as an Operating Room Registered Nurse (OR RN) with responsibilities including scrubbing and circulating during surgeries.
- Must have experience in Orthopedic and Neurosurgery cases.
- Level I Trauma OR experience is required.
- Must have recent (within last 24 months) acute care experience totaling at least 3 years in the OR specialty.
- Epic electronic health record system experience is required.
Required Qualifications
- Valid RN license in Florida
- Minimum 3 years of Operating Room (OR) experience, including OR experience within the last year
- ACLS certification
- BLS certification issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
- PALS certification
- NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification
- Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN)
- Experience working with Level 1 Trauma patients
- Orthopedics experience
- Neurology experience
- Experience with Epic electronic health record system
