⏰ Shift & Weekly Hours

Primary Shift

• Night Shift: 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM

Alternate Shift

• Day Shift: 7:00 AM – 7:30 PM

Schedule

• 3 × 12-hour shifts
• 36 Hours/Week
• Day/Night rotating assignment

⚠️ Facility will attempt to honor preferred shift but reserves the right to rotate travelers based on operational needs.

📋 Required Experience

Mandatory Experience

• Minimum 18 months combined permanent RN experience in the specialty applying for
• Minimum 18 months RECENT Med/Surg Telemetry experience
  • Travel experience may be used to meet the recent MS/Tele requirement

Preferred

• Majority of experience from one facility/system preferred

📜 Required Licensure & Certifications

License

• Active Ohio RN License OR
• Active Compact RN License
• License must be in hand at submission

Certifications

✅ BLS (AHA or American Red Cross)
✅ ACLS
✅ NIHSS

🧭 Floating Requirements

Travelers may float to:

• J1
• J2
• J33
• Emergency Department

Assignments will remain within the same Med/Surg Tele patient population and scope of practice.

🎓 Orientation Requirements

Mandatory Assessments

During orientation, travelers must successfully complete:

1. ECG Rhythm Recognition Test
2. SafeMedicate Assessment

An acceptable passing score is required on both assessments.

🎄 Holiday Requirement

• Traveler must work at least every other holiday

🧠 Ideal Candidate Profile

• Strong Med/Surg Telemetry background
• Recent telemetry experience
• Comfortable with floating
• Strong cardiac rhythm interpretation skills
• Confident medication administration and dosage calculations
• Flexible regarding day/night rotation
