Description

RN – Emergency Department (Trauma RN)

Location Requirement

Must live 50 miles or more away from the facility

Unit Overview

Emergency Department with active Trauma Room responsibilities
Travelers must be able to function as Bedside Trauma RN
Required to manage high-acuity emergency and trauma patients

Patient Assignment

Must be comfortable with 1:5 patient ratios
High-acuity ER/Trauma environment

Required Experience

Minimum 3 years recent ER (Emergency Department) experience
Experience working in trauma room / resuscitation cases
Strong critical thinking in high-acuity emergency settings

Required Certifications & Licensure

Active RN license (state/district of assignment)
BLS (AHA)
ACLS (AHA)
PALS (AHA)
TNCC (Trauma Nursing Core Course)
NIHSS certification

Required Systems Experience

Cerner EMR experience (Required)
