RN – Emergency Department (Trauma RN)
Location Requirement
- Must live 50 miles or more away from the facility
Unit Overview
- Emergency Department with active Trauma Room responsibilities
- Travelers must be able to function as Bedside Trauma RN
- Required to manage high-acuity emergency and trauma patients
Patient Assignment
- Must be comfortable with 1:5 patient ratios
- High-acuity ER/Trauma environment
Required Experience
- Minimum 3 years recent ER (Emergency Department) experience
- Experience working in trauma room / resuscitation cases
- Strong critical thinking in high-acuity emergency settings
Required Certifications & Licensure
- Active RN license (state/district of assignment)
- BLS (AHA)
- ACLS (AHA)
- PALS (AHA)
- TNCC (Trauma Nursing Core Course)
- NIHSS certification
Required Systems Experience
- Cerner EMR experience (Required)
