Description

Position Overview

We are seeking a skilled Surgical Technician / Tissue Processing Technician to support surgical teams by ensuring all instruments and equipment are properly sterilized, prepared, and functioning. This role is critical in maintaining a safe and efficient operating room environment.

Key Responsibilities

Sterilize and prepare surgical instruments and equipment
Organize and set up operating rooms for procedures
Assist in ensuring all surgical tools are functioning properly
Maintain strict adherence to safety, compliance, and infection control protocols

Requirements

Surgical Technologist Certification (NBSTSA required)
BLS (CPR) Certification
Graduate of an accredited Surgical Technician program (civilian or military)
Minimum 1 year of experience preferred
Strong orthopedic experience highly preferred
Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English
Must meet all federal, state, and facility requirements (including health screenings)

Schedule & Call Details

First contract: No weekends or call
Extensions: May include occasional weekend shifts and call rotation
