Description
Travel OR RN – Level I Trauma Center
🚨 ASAP Start Required
Candidates must be able to start within the next week and have an active nursing license on file at the time of submission.
Assignment Details
- Specialty: Operating Room (OR)
- Contract Length: 13 Weeks
- Schedule: Rotating Day/Evening Shifts
- Contract Week: Monday–Sunday
- No Block Scheduling Available
Shift Pattern
Primary schedule consists of day shifts with one rotating off-shift each week.
Typical Off-Shift Options:
- 8:45 AM – 7:15 PM
- 10:45 AM – 9:15 PM
- 12:45 PM – 11:15 PM

Facility Overview
Join a busy Level I Trauma Center with more than 500 staffed beds. This high-volume surgical department provides exposure to complex trauma and specialty procedures and requires experienced OR nurses who can both circulate and scrub across multiple service lines.
Requirements
- Active RN License
- Minimum 2 Years of Recent OR Experience
- Previous Travel Assignment Required
- Recent EPIC Experience (within the last 2 years) – Required
- Level I Trauma Center Experience Required
- Experience in a 500+ Bed Hospital Required
Required Clinical Skills
Circulating & Scrubbing
Candidates must be able to:
- Circulate OR cases independently
- Scrub independently across multiple specialties
Required Scrub Experience
Must be able to scrub:
- General Surgery
- Trauma Surgery
- GU/Urology
- Gynecology
- ENT
- Ophthalmology (Eyes)
- Plastic Surgery
- Laparoscopic Procedures
- Thoracic Surgery
- Vascular Surgery
CVOR experience is not required.
Call Requirements
- One weekday call shift per week
- One 24-hour call shift every four weeks
Holiday Requirements
Travelers must work 2 of the following 4 holidays:
- Thanksgiving
- Christmas Eve
- Christmas Day
- New Year's Day
Submission Requirements

- Scrub Skills Checklist
- Complete Employment History
- Explanation for all employment gaps greater than 90 days

- EPIC (Recent experience required)
