Description
Core Responsibilities
• Provide direct nursing care in pre-op, intra-op, and PACU settings
• Circulate and assist in general surgery, ortho, OB (including C-sections), and trauma cases
• Ensure strict adherence to aseptic and sterile technique
• Perform patient safety checks, surgical prep, and post-op monitoring
• Assist in emergency and trauma situations, including ER support when needed
• Manage on-call responsibilities (evenings, weekends, holidays)
• Work independently during night call situations when needed
• Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and interdisciplinary teams
• Maintain accurate clinical documentation and perioperative records
