Assignment Details
- Schedule: 4x10 Variable Shifts
- Weekend Requirement: Weekend coverage may be more frequent than every other weekend and is subject to staffing needs
- On-Call Requirement: None
- Floating: No
- Block Scheduling: Not available
- Guaranteed Hours: 70 hours per 2 weeks (traveler may be called off for one 10-hour shift every 2 weeks)
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year of MRI Technologist experience
- First-time travelers accepted
- Candidates must reside at least 50 miles from the facility (locals not accepted)
Required Certifications
- BLS
- ARRT (R)
- ARRT (MR)
Required Skills
- Skills required per unit description (UD)
- Experience performing MRI examinations in a hospital setting
- Ability to work with anesthesia and ICU patients

- Majority of studies include:
- Brain imaging
- Spine imaging
- Abdominal imaging
- Extremity imaging
- Facility does not perform:
- Enterography
- Prostate MRI
- Cardiac MRI
- Breast MRI
- Extensive interaction with anesthesia and ICU patients

Cons
Staff constantly switched. My documents weren't sent to the school, resulting in a months lost pay. It is IMPOSSIBLE to get on touch with anyone to answer questions. I have been attempting to reach them for over a month with absolutely no response! They lose paperwork (tests, immunizations, background checks and fingerprints) resulting in even more lost work.
