Description

Phlebotomist
Pay: $32 to $35 per hour

Location: Reno, NV

We are hiring multiple Phlebotomists for a long term federal healthcare assignment in Reno, Nevada. Opportunities are available across day, evening, and overnight shifts.

Available Shifts

Draw Station

Monday through Friday
7:00 AM to 1:30 PM

Processing Area

Monday through Friday
5:00 AM to 1:30 PM

Processing Area and Floor Draw

Monday through Friday
1:30 PM to 9:00 PM

Processing Area and Floor Draw

Monday through Friday
9:00 PM to 5:30 AM

Responsibilities

Perform venipuncture and specimen collection procedures
Verify patient identity and testing orders
Label and process specimens accurately
Prepare specimens for transport and laboratory testing
Maintain laboratory safety and infection control standards
Support specimen accessioning and documentation
Assist with inventory and supply management

Qualifications

Minimum one year of phlebotomy experience or national certification
Hospital, laboratory, or clinic experience preferred
Strong attention to detail
Excellent patient care and communication skills
Ability to pass federal background screening requirements
