Description

Lead Phlebotomist
Pay: $38 to $42 per hour
Location: Reno, NV

We are seeking an experienced Lead Phlebotomist to support a federal healthcare facility serving our nation's Veterans. This long term assignment offers a stable schedule, competitive pay, and the opportunity to lead a dedicated laboratory team.

Available Shift

Monday through Friday
7:00 AM to 3:30 PM

Responsibilities

Perform venipuncture and specimen collection procedures
Coordinate daily phlebotomy operations
Serve as primary point of contact between laboratory leadership and staff
Assist with scheduling, workflow management, and training
Support specimen processing and accessioning
Ensure compliance with laboratory policies and quality standards
Maintain accurate records and documentation

Qualifications

Minimum one year of phlebotomy experience
National phlebotomy certification preferred
Previous lead, charge, or supervisory experience preferred
Strong communication and organizational skills
Ability to pass federal background screening requirements
