Unit: Labor & Delivery
Location: Denver, CO 80218
Shift: Nightrs/ Days
Shift Length: 12 hours
Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours per week
Duration: 13 weeks
Position Summary:
We are seeking an experienced RN – Labor & Delivery Nurse with a minimum of 1 years of recent acute care experience to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate must have prior travel nursing experience and proficiency with the EPIC EMR system. This role involves providing comprehensive care to mothers during labor, delivery, and the immediate postpartum period while ensuring the safety and well-being of both mother and newborn. Candidates must hold current BLS and NRP certifications and demonstrate strong clinical judgment in a fast-paced Labor & Delivery environment.
NOTE: Travel experience is required.

Roles & Responsibilities:
- Provide comprehensive nursing care to patients throughout labor, delivery, recovery, and the immediate postpartum period.
- Monitor maternal and fetal status, interpret fetal heart rate tracings, and promptly respond to changes in condition.
- Administer medications, IV therapies, and treatments in accordance with physician orders and clinical protocols.
- Assist physicians and healthcare teams during vaginal deliveries, cesarean sections, and obstetric emergencies.
- Educate patients and families on labor, delivery, newborn care, and postpartum recovery while maintaining accurate EPIC documentation.

- Labor & Delivery Nursing in an Acute Care Setting
