<p>Shift: Nights 7p-730a, EOW, EOH. 36 or 48 hr contract.</p><p>Minimum 2 years of recent Emergency Department RN experience required, caring for both adult and pediatric emergency patients. </p><p>Current Connecticut RN license (or compact), BLS(AHA), ACLS, PALS, and NIH Stroke Scale certification required. TNCC and CPI/NCI (or equivalent de-escalation training) preferred. Previous EPIC experience strongly preferred. </p><p>Previous travel experience is preferred but not required.</p><p>Must be able to function independently after a brief orientation and be comfortable managing a broad range of emergency presentations, including medical, behavioral health, and critical care patients. </p><p>Competency with IV insertion, cardiac monitoring, procedural sedation support, stroke and sepsis care, and emergency stabilization required. </p><p>Experience with Alaris pumps and standard ED equipment preferred. Must be willing to work 12-hour shifts, every other weekend and holiday.</p>
