Position Overview:

We are seeking an experienced Nursing Director (Director of Nursing equivalent) to lead and oversee operations within a residential living and long-term care setting. This leadership role is responsible for ensuring high-quality resident care, regulatory compliance, workforce stability, financial stewardship, and operational excellence.

The ideal candidate will bring strong leadership experience in long-term care, with the ability to stabilize clinical teams, drive quality outcomes, and ensure compliance with all regulatory standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide leadership and operational oversight for nursing services in residential living and long-term care
• Ensure safe, effective, and compassionate resident care aligned with clinical standards
• Lead staffing strategy including hiring, retention, onboarding, and workforce stabilization
• Oversee budgeting, resource allocation, and operational planning (capital and personnel)
• Ensure compliance with CMS, Joint Commission, OSHA, state regulations, and internal policies
• Drive quality improvement initiatives and clinical program implementation
• Conduct performance evaluations and support staff development and mentorship
• Collaborate with physicians, interdisciplinary teams, and executive leadership
• Monitor resident satisfaction and implement improvement strategies
• Promote a culture of accountability, professionalism, and employee engagement
• Support strategic planning and operational goal alignment

Qualifications:

Required:

• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) from an accredited institution
• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Montana or compact state.
• AHA - BLS
• Minimum 3 years of management/leadership experience

• Minimum 2 years of clinical nursing experience
