Job Opportunity: CT Tech

Location: Dublin, Ohio
Employment Type: Travel/Contract
Contract Length: 13 weeks


Job Details

  • Shift: 3 shifts per week, 12 hours each
    • Friday: 9:30 AM – 10:00 PM
    • Saturday & Sunday: 7:30 AM – 8:00 PM
  • Daily Caseload: Approximately 40 patients
  • Patient Type: Adult and Pediatric outpatient imaging
  • Equipment: Siemens CT Scanner
  • Electronic Documentation System: EPIC
  • Dress Code: Pewter Gray scrubs
  • First-time travelers: Not accepted
  • Time Off: One pre-approved time off per contract

  • Various CT Procedures including Abdomen, Pelvis, Chest, Carotid, Trauma Head, Cervical, Lumbar, Musculoskeletal Trauma

Requirements/Qualifications

  • Valid CT Technologist license in Ohio
  • Minimum 1 year of CT Technologist experience, including experience within the last year
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
  • ARRT CT certification
  • Experience in an outpatient setting
  • Proficient in starting peripheral IVs and venipuncture
  • Skilled in 3D rendering and multiplanar reconstruction
  • Experience with EPIC electronic documentation system

Required Background & Compliance Checks

  • 7-year criminal background check within 90 days of start, including SS trace, counties lived/worked, nationwide check, sex offender registry, and motor vehicle record if driving is required
  • FBI and BCI fingerprinting with specific Ohio codes, valid within 1 year of start
  • Education accreditation verification for relevant programs
  • Monthly EPLS/GSA/SAM and HHS/OIG monitoring
  • Pending background check attestation allowed if fingerprint results are pending

Health & Safety Requirements

  • Physical exam within 1 year of start confirming good health and free of contagious disease
  • Negative TB test (PPD, QGold, or TSPOT) or chest x-ray if positive, within 1 year
  • Tetanus/Diphtheria/Tdap vaccine (adult dose after age 11/12)
  • Immunizations or positive titers for Measles, Mumps, Rubella (2 MMR vaccines or positive titers)
  • Varicella immunity (2 vaccines or positive titer) or documented medical exemption
  • Hepatitis B immunity (titer or 3-vaccine series) or signed declination
  • Negative 10-panel drug screen within 3 months of start (includes amphetamines, barbiturates, benzodiazepines, cannabinoids, cocaine, methadone, methaqualone, opiates, PCP, propoxyphene)
  • Seasonal flu vaccination or declination during flu season (10/1 - 3/31) with mask requirement if declined
  • Fit mask test annually for patient-facing roles (required starting 7/13/2026)

  • Employment application (including education for nursing candidates)
  • Skills checklist
  • Two professional references, with at least one from a manager or formal leadership (charge RN acceptable as second reference)

Additional Notes

  • Unit-specific competency exams required
  • Orientation safety manual acknowledgment required annually
  • Electronic fetal monitoring, ACLS, PALS, NRP, NIH Stroke Certification, and other certifications may be required depending on unit assignment (verify per assignment)
  • Prior travel experience is not required for this position
