Respiratory Therapist – Contract Position

Requirements

• BILH coversheet required at the time of submission
• Respiratory Therapist License required
• Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential required
• BLS certification required
• Minimum 2 years of experience required
• Critical Care, Level I Trauma, and Teaching Hospital experience required
• Must be available for on-call shifts as needed

Schedule

• 12-hour shifts
• Every other weekend
• 2 call shifts
• Holiday commitment required

Clinical Experience Required

• Adult Critical Care and Emergency Department experience
• Level I Trauma Center experience in a 400+ bed hospital
• Experience in:
  • Trauma ICU
  • Neuro ICU
  • Medical ICU
  • Cardiac ICU
  • Surgical ICU

Ventilator & Equipment Experience

• Advanced ventilator management required, including:
  • Esophageal balloons
  • PV loop interpretation
  • Driving pressure assessment
  • Best PEEP maneuvers
• Ventilators used:
  • Hamilton G5
  • C6
  • T1
  • MR1
  • Philips EV300
  • iNO Vent
• EPIC EMR experience required

Additional Information

• No local travelers accepted (must live more than 50 miles from the facility)
• Orientation is held weekly on Mondays
• No interview or offer process
• Please provide available start dates and interview availability at submission
• All requested time off (RTO) must be submitted at the time of application
• Candidates who have worked for Beth Israel Lahey Health as permanent, per diem, or travel staff within the last 6 months are not eligible
• Must be separated from the facility for at least 6 months to be considered
