Registered Nurse (RN) – Operating Room (OR)

Shift: 10-Hour Days | 6:30 AM – 5:00 PM
Call Requirement: Required (approximately 4 call shifts per month)

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of recent Operating Room RN experience required
• Pediatric OR experience required
• Prior travel nursing experience highly preferred
• BLS certification required
• CNOR certification preferred
• Experience with Epic EMR preferred

Unit Overview

Operating Room serving both Adult and Pediatric patient populations, including:

• ENT
• General Surgery
• Vascular Surgery
• Endovascular Procedures
• Robotics
• Dental Surgery
• Gynecology
• Orthopedics
• Spine Surgery
• Neurosurgery

Call Expectations

Call assignments vary and may include:

• End of Shift (EOS): 7:00 PM – 11:00 PM
• Overnight Call: 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM
• Backup Call (BUC): 3:00 PM – 7:00 AM

Additional Requirements

• Radius Rule: Candidates must live more than 50 miles from the facility
• Floating required; travelers are expected to float first and may float to sister campuses as needed
• All requested time off (RTO) must be disclosed at submission; no RTO requests will be approved after submission
